The indigo color of the Thai fisherman pants are elaborately extracted from plants.
The dyeing process takes several days until the yarns have completely absorbed the dye particles.
The trousers are also fixed with components obtained from plants (banana stems).
This means that the production process is free of "artificial" chemicals and particularly sustainable, but of course not so perfect either.
The fabrics are still traditionally made by hand with the loom. This process is also very time consuming.
However, the aim of the production community led by "Pii Ow" at the foot of the Jom Thong mountains is to preserve the knowledge of old cultural techniques.
The quality of the products manufactured in your 4-star OTOP is beyond any doubt.
The cotton fabric feels great. The colour-contrasting, patch side pocket is also practical.
The Thai fisherman pants are cut with the J-seam for a comfortable fit.
The trousers dye with the first wash. Please try to wash them gently if possible.
