The pants are made of relatively heavy but airy cotton (Paah Muang) from Northern Thailand.
The pants have pleasant colors and an unusual texture and are equipped with a side pocket. These pants are particularly stable, because all seams are double stitched.

Compared to synthetic fibres, cotton is very absorbent and can absorb up to eighty percent of its weight in water. Cotton fabrics are considered very skin-friendly and have an extremely low allergy potential.
Due to its high abrasion resistance and tear strength, it also withstands higher loads.
Cotton is absorbent and absorbs e.g. body moisture. However, it does not retain this moisture, but releases it evenly into the environment without a noticeable evaporative cooling effect.
